PT199: 1 Day One Way to Chiang Rai on The Kok River (also available in the opposite direction)

Tour Overview

If you are planning a trip to Chiang Rai then why not let us take you there by the scenic route. We will start by taking a route directly north towards Chiang Dao where we will stop to see the Chiang Dao cave. We will then continue on to the small river side town of Thaton where you can climb the steps to Thaton temple overlooking The Kok River valley. Here we will take lunch before you board your private boat charter for the 4 hour trip along the beautiful Kok River to Chiang Rai. On route we will stop off at a Karen hill tribe village (not Long Neck) where you can still see traditional Karen life as well as having the choice of riding an elephant. The boat will continue to Chiang Rai we where our driver will be waiting at the boat pier to take you to your hotel in Chiang Rai.

Please note that we can arrange this tour in the opposite direction from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai.
