What
if I don’t know the hotel or guest house I will be staying at in
Chiang Mai?
All tours, unless otherwise specified, will include free pick up from
your hotel or guest house. We need to know the hotel or guest house you
are staying in at the latest 5.00 pm the day before your tour or trek
is due to depart. If you do not have a hotel or guest house booked in
Chiang Mai please let us know by e mail or telephone at the earliest opportunity.
Can I expect
the timings to be accurate?
Timings given in the tour/trek details are approximate and are there for
guidance only. Occasionally tours are late arriving back in Chiang Mai
so if you have an onward transport connection to make please bear this
in mind. The Travel Hub can not be responsible for any late return to
Chiang Mai. On rare occasions itineraries may be modified to suit seasonal
conditions.
What if the
tour/trek that I selected is not available?
It is vary rare that a tour or trek will not be available. If however
it is not available we will notify you by e mail within 24 hours. We will
not send you the link to out secure online payment gateway.
What is the
latest time that I can make my reservation?
We can usually accept bookings up to 5pm the day before a tour is due
to depart but for online bookings we prefer at least 2 days before the
commencement of the tour or trek.
How far ahead
can I book?
You can book 12 months in advance.
How can I
make payment?
We accept online payments by credit card or you can pay at our office
in Chiang Mai. However for all private tours, hotel and flight bookings
will will require at least a deposit We will let you know within 24 hours
of the booking if a deposit is required.
Can I pay
a deposit and pay the remainder in Chiang Mai?
As sometimes the payment amounts are quite large and many people are uncomfortable
with using their credit cards for large sums on the internet we can accept
a deposit online and give you the option of paying the balance when you
arrive in Chiang Mai. We usually require a 20% deposit.
What happens
when I make a reservation?
Within 24 hours of a booking being made we will check availability and
make a reservation for the tour, trek or cooking school. Then depending
on how you opted to pay on the booking form the following will happen:
Pay
online
We will then send you an e mail please click on the ‘confirm’
link you will be taken to our confirmation page where you can check
your details and final price. You will then be directed to our secure
encrypted online payment gateway ‘thaiepay’ to make
payment
Within a further
24 hours of you making payment you will be emailed your booking
vouchers and receipts. The voucher will contain full details of
your tour and pick up times from your hotel. Please print a copy
for presentation on pick up. |
Payment
at our office
If you opted to pay at our office you will receive a provisional booking
confirmation by e mail within 24 hours. Please print it out and bring
it to our office when you arrive in Chiang Mai. you can then make
payment at our office. |
Are there
any discounts for children?
Children’s discounts are available on some tours and treks. If you
have children in your group please enquire about price before booking.
Are taxes
and service charges included in the rate?
Yes. All taxes and service charges are included in our rates.
Are entrance
fees and food included in the price?
What's included in the tour will be clearly stated on each tour information
page. If you require any clarification please do not hesitate to contact

What credit/debit
cards are accepted?
Our online payment gateway 'THAIEPAY' currently accepts Visa, Master Card
and Amex credit cards
What sort
of acknowledgement will I receive when I book a tour trek?
Within 24 hours of a payment being received. A tour or trek voucher will
be e mailed to you. You will need to print this reservation confirmation
voucher, as you will be asked to present it on pick up of your chosen
tour/trek.
What is a
confirmation voucher?
Once the tour is confirmed, we will send you, by email, a confirmation
voucher detailing the reservation. Please print a copy and present it
at the commencement of your tour.
How long does
it take to get a confirmation?
We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible but within
24 hours is the norm.
